I was delighted last month to welcome businesswomen from across Hereford to a new and exciting business forum at our event venue- The Colloquy. 

Women across Herefordshire and beyond enjoyed an inspiring business masterclass from Baronesses Michelle Mone and Karren Brady as part of a new women-only business masterclass. The event is the brainchild of local businesswoman and international speaker, Vikki Thomas.

I am a huge supporter of entrepreneurialism in the county and what Vikki is looking to achieve is extremely exciting. It was great to enjoy the shared wisdom of such highly regarded business women but more importantly, it has created a new network of support amongst business women within the county and beyond. I am really looking forward to what this may achieve in the future. It was lovely to welcome both Karren Brady and Michelle Mone who were excellent company and enjoyed a glass of British Cassis at the end of the day! 

The three-day event included a series of one to one and group sessions, as well as time with both Karren Brady and Michelle Mone. Attendees said the event had helped with confidence, positive mindset and a clearer direction for their business and personal aspirations. Both the Baronesses enjoyed the event so much they have pledged support for the future. Vikki is now planning a follow-up event next month when attendees will get the chance to meet and learn from the founders of Jo Jo Maman Bebe, Laura Tenison, and Anne Summers, Jacqueline Gold.
