Hereford Indie Food Festival

As you all know, we’re huge foodies here at The Whittern Estate! We take every opportunity to try the very best produce in the Three Counties and further afield where we can too!

This weekend, Hereford will transform and all that's exciting and fresh within the city will be shouting about what they believe in and highlighting what they do, by bringing us the Herefordshire Indie Food Festival! It’s a community driven project set up by the guys at A Rule of Tum, celebrating the independent food scene, chefs, producers and makers in Herefordshire. The food festival is a two day event, starting this Saturday 27th August through to Sunday 28th August.

The festival will be held in the transformed car park of the Burger Shop & Book Shop on Aubrey Street and it’s certainly looking to be the best hangout spot this bank holiday! We’re extremely excited about the whole concept and can’t wait to enjoy delicious street food, refreshing cocktails and live music, all day and all night!

The Rule of Tum guys started up back in 2014 with pop-ups at local pubs and festivals and 2 years down the line, they have two successful restaurants and are playing host to their very own food festival! They’ve been playing hide and seek with sets of tickets all over Hereford. So, follow the event on Facebook to see all the prep put in for the biggest food event of the year and see if you can get your hands on a pair of tickets - https://www.facebook.com/herefordfood/?hc_ref=SEARCH&fref=nf.

Spread the word and head on down to celebrate and to support local!
