WHITE HERON ESTATE TOURS

Our exclusive White Heron Estate food and drink tours can either be on foot or by e-bike.

WALKING TOUR- explore our three different crops - Sparkling Wine from our vineyards; Cider from our Apple Orchards; and British Cassis from our blackcurrants - and hear about the wider business of our farming, the story of agriculture today, the family and why they came Herefordshire. Finish with a tasting in the vineyards of all our products.  You can add an offgrid ploughmans or a more gourmet meal as required. This will be set in our beautiful tent at the top of a vineyard where you will sit on rough hewn oak from a fallen farm tree.

E-BIKE TOUR - adventure the farm with one of our managers to have a big picture view of what we do.  The E-bike tour gives you the opportunity to see more of the farm and the landscape and can be as adventurous as you choose with some of the routes being a little more challenging than others.  As with the walking tour you will hear about our farm and our diversifications as well as the history of the Estate and more about farming and Herefordshire beyond.  Again - end with a tasting, a cocktail and/or a meal set in our beautiful vineyard tent  jo@whiteherondrinks.co.uk

Come to White Heron Estate and see where our products  wer born and where the Brisith Cassis is still made today. Whatever the time of year the tour includes the following:

  • Walk or ride through the Blackcurrant fields, cider apples, vineyards and the farm, tasting our fruits at their freshest (during the summer months only) whilst drinking in the fresh air and tranquillity of beautiful north Herefordshire.
  • Visit our small Cassiserie where you will be taken through the steps of manufacture
  • Bottle your own Cassis which you will take home with you at the end of the day (this can be subject as whether the bottling line is operating at the time of the tour).
  • Enjoy a cocktail demonstration and sample the results in our beautiful striped field tent
  • Hear how founder and farmer Jo Hilditch manages a vibrant fruit farm and drinks business (amongst other pursuits) and how she battled Dragons on the road to success! 
  • Have the opportunity to buy gifts and stock up your drinks cabinet with our deliciously versatile product
