Once the madness of Christmas has left us the New Year can be a great time to get away from it all, reflect on the old year and plan for the New one ahead. Sometimes a change of scene is all that is needed to clear your mind and let the creative juices flow! So it's not surprising that January sees many new visitors to the estate; taking full advantage of the peace and tranquility that North Herefordshire has to offer. The estate is close enough to civilisation to allow you to spend time in a cosy pub or cafe but remote enough to have a rich tapestry of countryside at your feet.

Autumn is the perfect time for a rural getaway; catching the last of the sunshine at the end of August and heading into September we see the leaves change their colours. In addition to this, this beautiful part of the country is home to some of the most well known and established food festivals.

Instead, why not book a romantic trip to The Whittern Estate. We still have availability at some of our smaller luxury cottages on our 700-acre picturesque estate.

“The key to happiness, is spending your money on experiences rather than possessions.”
It’s true! Recent studies show that people that spend their money on experiences are much happier long-term.
